Camel Pose - Ustrasana
A kneeling backbend which is good for opening the chest, stretching the spine and thighs. It is also good for the digestive system.
A modified camel pose can be done kneeling down. Lift up through the whole of the front of the body and don't drop the head too far back.
The next stage is to try kneeling up. Push forwards through the hips and keep them stacked above the knees.
Tucking the toes under makes it easier to reach back to the heels!
Counterpose - move into extended child to rest.
